Beginning on December 30, 2015, Sundance TV began to stream the Emmy Award-winning show Breaking Bad. Although season one has already aired, there is still time to catch season one through five. This re-airing of the show is great for people who want to relive the critically acclaimed show or find out for the first time what all the fuss is about. Every Wednesday starting at 9pm EST Sundance TV will air four episodes back-to-back in chronological order.
If you’re not familiar with the plot line of Breaking Bad, the series starts off with an ordinary high school chemistry teacher finding out that he has cancer. He doesn’t know how he’s going to pay for his cancer treatment let alone how he’s going to help provide for his wife and son with cerebral palsy. So, Walter White teams up with an old student to do what anyone would have done: create a high-end brand of meth to sell in order to get cancer treatment and to help take care of his family. Not only does he become a highly successful drug king pin, he also does it right under the nose of his brother-in-law who is a DEA agent. As Walter and his wife welcome a new baby in to the world, much blood is spilled between drug dealers over who will have control of some of the purist meth ever created. How far will Walter go to protect his empire? You’ll have to tune in to the Sundance TV marathon to find out.
This show won multiple Emmy Awards for its excellent writing, acting and dramatic plot twists. Breaking Bad is considered one of the best television shows of all time with many people being hooked on the dark series from the very first explosive episode!
