The very sad and tragic news today of iconic actor and writer, Carrie Fisher’s passing has all of us reeling with a range of emotions. Fisher suffered a massive heart attack while on a return flight from London to Los Angeles last Friday, which ultimately led to being fatal, as she seemingly began to recover in the hospital over the Christmas weekend. While we all feel the need to mourn and come to terms with such a brilliant individual’s time with us cut short, we also look back to the lovely work Fisher accomplished, most notably and recognizably as her character, Princess Leia Organa in George Lucas’ original and epic sci-fi trilogy, Star Wars.

Many of us are likely feeling the need to revisit her role and journey in these films in memoriam of the actress’ fantastic work in bringing this lovely and beloved character to life for our enjoyment. While subscription-based streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime do not have the original trilogy online, you can own and binge the original Star Wars trilogy on these alternative streaming services:
