If your planning on binge watching your favorite show this weekend, BingeOut.com has a few suggestions to improve your experience and eliminate interruptions. If your going to do it, do it right!

Clear your schedule

There’s no way your going to make it through if you have to go grocery shopping or finish some work leftover from Friday. Also make sure to turn off your phone, if its on they will call! There’s nothing worse than a ringing phone in the last 5 minutes of an intense episode.

Where to watch?

This is a tough one, at our house we basically have 3 options:

  1. In the bed. This is a tough one because while probably the most comfortable, your pretty much stuck laying down and there’s a good chance you will be asleep halfway though the third episode.
  2. On the couch. This is generally the best option, its comfortable and versatile. Grab a blanket and its just like bed, get tired and you can sit/curl up.
  3. At the table. Definitely not our favorite, its not comfortable and your lower body has a good chance of going numb.

What to bring

This ones important! You do not want to have to get up every 30 minutes to get some water or a tasty treat. Make sure to bring a variety of options depending on your tastes. We recommend something salty and something sweet to cover the whole range. Or maybe you want carrots and celery, whatever floats your boat. Your eating it, not us! As for a drink, water or Gatorade is usually the best option, but watch how much you drink, getting up to pee every 5 minutes is sure to interrupt your binge.

Stick it out

Probably the most important thing to remember is its called a binge for a reason! Your going to get tired, take a break every few hours and walk around. When its 3 am and you have 3 episodes left, as long as tomorrows not a school day, go for it!
